Casa Le Querce is surrounded by olive groves and huge oak trees. It lies just outside Ogliastro Cilento, a mountain village 300m above sea level overlooking the beautiful Cilento Coast. In former times it was a "fichara" where the renowned white figs of Cilento were dried in the sun and afterwards baked in a big stone oven. Our family bought it as a ruin and renovated it completely. Finally in 2008 we moved into the new stone house and from 2009 on we rent 2 small tastefully furnished holiday homes on the upper floor.
From the large panoramic terrace you enjoy a wonderful view over softly rising hills covered with olive groves, oak woods and the azure sea on the horizon. You look at the old houses, at manor palaces and the Church of Santo Stefano. Casa Le Querce is amidst the green and lies very quiet below the old but today little-used federal road SS 18 that allows you to reach any place in and out of Cilento in a short time. It's a real vacation paradise!
